why i do what i do

There is a huge reason why I fell in love with art. For me, it has always been a way to stop time and to realize that life is so transient and ephemeral. When I paint, I’m constantly reminded of how important it is to slow down enough to notice what’s really in front of me. The world moves so fast, and it’s easy to miss the little moments in life that carry so much meaning. The canvas becomes a mirror of the world around me and nothing else matters because it’s less about making something ‘perfect’ and more about noticing what it feels like to be alive in that moment.Every person I paint has their own language of beauty, written in the details of who they are. This is why I do what I do, to remind people that beauty isn’t about fitting an image, but about embracing the details that make them uniquely themselves.
